Learn how to create sophisticated Venetian plaster techniques that can be applied to walls and ceilings.

Our Venetian plaster classes use authentic Italian plasters.  In our Venetian plaster 101 class,  you will learn the History of Venetian plasters and the various types of plasters that are around today. Learn  the same techniques used throughout Italy and Europe by craftsmen hundreds of years ago.  You will learn the same as the European masters.

You will also learn modern application techniques to create amazing finishes.  Ronald will teach you surface preparation, tinting, burnishing, waxing, polishing, mica powders and natural earth pigments.

All of the plasters and products used in this class are water based, environmentally friendly products. You will learn 4 - 5 techniques in this hands on class.  All of the samples you make in class are yours to take home and add to your portfolio.

Learn the traditional technique to apply Venetian plaster using 2 coats without sanding.

Professional Venetian plaster artisans make on average $400.00 per day.  This is a very specialized and lucrative business that continues to grow everyday.   As public awareness increases for this exotic finishe, so does the demand for professional and skilled applicators.  Venetian plasters can be applied to private and public spaces.  This one-day class will introduce you to this lucrative business and provide you with a few samples to get started, however this class is just the tip of the iceberg.  There are hundreds of techniques and dozens of materials that range from smooth polished finishes, to old world textures.

I hope that you will join me as I introduce you to the world of Venetian plaster.  These are some of my favorite and most requested finishes that I use in my business and my staff of artisans apply every day.
