The MD studio boast a large 5000 sq. ft. studio, classroom, design center and store. The facility was built in 1892 and has 35 foot high ceilings. The studio also has a 900 sq. ft. relaxation lounge.

The “Community Bridge” is a Trompe L’oeil master piece that took 5 years for master artesian, William Cochran to create. As you look left, you’ll notice the Carroll creek Promenade. Students enjoy spending lunch break strolling the promenade for some fresh air and having lunch along the benches and stare at the beautifully painted bridge.

The Studio

Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Frederick. Originally constructed in1829, 5000 square feet, 30 foot high ceilings and large windows for plenty of natural light. The studio has stained concrete floors, marbled columns, and wall finishes everywhere.
