We are pleased to welcome our dear friend Pierre back for this exclusive class. This class is only taught at The Faux School and this year it will be taught two times. This class is limited in size to 10 students.

About Pierre Ricard
 
Born in 1956 at Montpellier (Southern France).
 
Pierre started painting murals, walls, and ceilings focusing on 17th and 18th style techniques. During that same time Pierre also became proficient in faux marbles, wood graining, aged patinas, lime based paints,  textured marble stuccos, and all the antique venetian plasters techniques. Pierre owns and manages his own decorating company that is based in Montpellier, France.  Pierre’s decorating company was established 22 years ago, and has a full time staff of artisans. His decorating company specializes in high-end decorative finishes.
 
Pierre is a graduate from the Verona Academy in Italy where he received specialized teaching from Italian Masters. Pierre also studied and graduated from the French Lime works Charter which is  based in Biot ( Cote d' Azur) where he studied interior designing for indoor works based on traditional Lime works and natural earth pigments used (based at Roussillon en Provence).

Pierre is a certified trainer from the Federation Compagnonique des Metiers du Batiment. This is the famous master artisans school based in Paris. Pierre teaches in the venetian plasters and lime paints techniques department. He is a highly certified trainer from the National French Building Unions / section  of pure lime based paints and  plasters . He is a certified trainer from the Rivedil Factory in Italy.Pierre currently teaches 3 different levels of classes that focus on authentic application techniques based on Greek, Roman, Barocco and Renaissance time techniques. He teaches all over the US, Canada and Latin America. Pierre speaks French, English, and Spanish.

The Faux School is the only training facility in the United States to offer training using the all natural lime based authentic Rivedil brand plasters.
