Wood graining paint kits All of our wood graining paint kits are low voc water based products. The base coats are a high adhesion bonding base coat that sticks to wood, plaster, primed metal, plastic, glass, ceramic tile and concrete. All of he base coats dry to a satin finish. The glazes are low voc water based, low odor, soap and water clean up glazes that dry to a satin finish and should be top coated. All of our wood graining glazes are rated for interior and exterior use and are uv resistant. Oak Our oak wood graining paint kit is a three step process, first apply the base coat using a low nap roller, sprayer or brush, allow to dry for 4 hours and then you are ready for the glazes. Step 1 glaze is applied using a course rocker grainer and check roller and allowed to dry, then glaze step 2 is applied and softened with a badger brush, allowed to dry and then top coated with our interior exterior uv resistant water based slow drying poly urethane.
