Over time, oil-based paints and varnishes dry out, in particular, when exposed to direct sunlight. The appearance over time is an old aged crackle. Decorative artists can now achieve this effect by using Adi-Crackle, One Step crackle for latex paint by Adicolor.
Topcoat medium will crack with that old aged effect. Additional protection can be achieved by sealing surface with DFV ®. |
