Ronald Layman, Director of The Faux School and plaster artisan will teach you how these luxurious products are tinted and applied to interior and exterior surfaces.  Yes, exterior surfaces!   Many of the RIVEDIL products may be applied to exterior surfaces as they are 100% pure-slaked, lime-based materials.

Students will create at least 12 high quality portfolio samples for their professional use.  Students will also receive a detailed handbook explaining the history of  “Venetian” plasters, lime theory and the creation process that RIVEDIL uses to manufacture this beautiful collection of products.  The student handbook includes surface preparation methods, base coating and tinting techniques, as well as top coats.

This handbook also includes information on project bidding and how to estimate RIVEDIL products showcased in the 3-day class.  Also of interest to many students today, is the practical information contained on resurfacing Formica counter tops and concrete floor surfaces.
