The MD studio boast a large 5000 sq. ft. studio, classroom, design center and store. The facility was built in 1892 and has 35 foot high ceilings. The studio also has a 900 sq. ft. relaxation lounge.

This workshop will introduce you to authentic lime based plasters. Discover the beauty of lime in this intense program. Student will work with and learn the difference between the many lime based plasters.

Intro to marble 1 - Day
Learn to to create beautifully painted marble finishes using easy to use water based materials. The finishes in this class are perfect for columns, mantels and much more.
A view of the studio from the top of “Community Bridge” The studio is just off to the right. The “Community Bridge” is a Trompe L’oeil master piece that took 5 years for master artesian, William Cochran to create. As you look left, you’ll notice the Carroll creek Promenade. Students enjoy spending lunch break strolling the promenade for some fresh air and having lunch along the benches and stare at the beautifully painted bridge.
